Tell the National Park Service to halt Big Oil's reckless new fracking plans and protect Florida's Big Cypress National Preserve and the iconic Everglades.
Big Cypress National Preserve is home to the iconic Florida panther and eight other endangered species. This fragile ecosystem plays a crucial role keeping clean water flowing into the Everglades and providing safe drinking water for nearly 3 million people. But more than 70,000 acres of the Preserve are at risk if Big Oil convinces the National Park Service to throw open the doors to seismic testing in preparation for drilling and fracking. Urge the Park Service to stop Big Oil's advance immediately and assess the full risks of all oil exploration and development, including fracking, in Big Cypress.
