Help Stop the Senseless Killing of Wolves in the Boreal Forest!
The woodland caribou that make their home in Alberta’s boreal forest are endangered by rampant, unchecked expansion of tar sands operations, conventional oil and gas development, and unsustainable forestry. But instead of defending caribou habitat against tar sands development, the Canadian government is planning to slaughter thousands of wolves, native predators that sometimes prey on caribou. This strategy is cruel, misguided and ineffective for boosting the caribou population. Tell Alberta Premier Alison Redford to stop the killing of wolves in the name of caribou protection and instead focus on defending caribou habitat from tar sands operations.
